Connecting Communities are priority initiatives that focus
on giving back to our hapori and support the communities
that support us. We are proud to make a difference across
Aotearoa, not just with financial support, but also with
volunteering, thought leadership and utilising the resources
available through our people and partners.
Hāpai te ōritetangaSupporting Equality
In our connected world, we believe every person should be
able to experience the unlimited possibilities that technology
unlocks. A focus within our Connecting Communities
philanthropy is to improve digital access, skills and pathways. It
is essential that industry connects education, technology and
communities to address digital equity in New Zealand.
Digital Access
Digital equity is an essential feature of our strategy with a
focus on ensuring everyone has an equal opportunity and
importantly, removing the barriers to access technology.
Cyclone is committed to critical programs and partnerships
that make technology and education available to children and
families that need it most.

A supportive culture
We seek to implement changes that will positively impact our people and community. As part of our commitment to our community, Cyclone proudly contributes to any annual donations made by our Whānau.
One of the benefits is that we offer this through our dollar-for-dollar matching program annually (to a maximum of $1000 per team member), which directly reflects and supports charities that we all believe in and are passionate about.
We are proud that we reflect our values and commitment, as this helps us drive change and contribute to our community because it’s a crucial part of who we are and how we thrive.
Below is a list of the recipients of those dollar-for-dollar donations from Cyclone this year:
