We seek to implement changes that will positively impact our people and community. As part of our commitment to our community, Cyclone proudly contributes to any annual donations made by our people.
One of our benefits for our people is that we offer this through our dollar-for-dollar matching program annually (to a maximum of $1000 per team member), which directly reflects and supports charities our people believe in and are passionate about.
We are proud that our people reflect our values and commitment, as this helps us drive change and contribute to our community because it’s a crucial part of who we are and how we thrive.

Stand Children's Services
Stand Children’s Services support our Tamariki and whānau to ensure they are safe, recover from past trauma, and reconnect with each other to create a positive future. Their services include therapeutic social work services delivered in home based and school based settings, family therapy, and a holiday programme for caregivers, including grandparents and foster parents.
Cyclone has supported Stand Children’s Services by a donation of NZD$10,000 during 2022 and 2023 to support this community and help provide aid and assistance to those who need it.
Braintree Wellness Centre
The BrainTree Wellness Centre is an innovative, first-of-its-kind facility in Ōtautahi-Christchurch that supports people living with neurological conditions to live well in the community. Cyclone is proud to be a foundation partner assisting the inspiring work carried out by the amazing team at BrainTree.
Autism NZ
Autism New Zealand has worked continuously with the community to deliver thousands of educational programmes that increase public understanding of autism. We have assisted over 50,000 individuals and their family members to learn about autism and find the services they need.
Prostate Cancer
The Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand – Te Kāhui Mate Pukupuku Repe Tātea o Aotearoa – Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading men’s cancer charity. During 2022, a key member of our team, Danny Bedingfield, ran the Auckland Marathon to support and raise awareness for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. At Cyclone, we like to support the charities our staff are investing in. As the president of the PCFNZ this is a cause close to Danny’s heart, and we were proud to donate $10,000 to this great cause.
Their vision is to significantly reduce and ultimately end suffering and death from prostate cancer by providing support and education, funding research and advocating to reduce the impacts of the disease.
Partnership Cambodia
Partnership Cambodia are a non-profit organisation that seeks to provide opportunities to make a difference in the world by supporting Cambodian young people in education, business and Christian discipleship and mentoring. They are particularly focused on assisting the rural and urban poor as a way of breaking the poverty cycle.
Each year Cyclone donates IT Hardware to Partnership Cambodia to gift to those students that they are assisting through tertiary studies.
Child Cancer Foundation
What a special day it was last year. 153 laps of Rugby and Malvern Park for the 153 children diagnosed with cancer each year, to help their families “In The Long Run’.
We are proud to support such an incredible charity, the Child Cancer Foundation do some amazing mahi and we hope our contribution supports the tamariki and whanāu of this community and provides aid and assistance to those who need it
