Planning Essentials is a 3-hour workshop to engage school leadership teams in planning and accelerating a
successful deployment with Apple.

Overview

Planning Essentials is a workshop with school leadership teams to help them formulate their technology vision and align it to their school’s mission.

It provides schools with a tailored project deployment plan for successful implementation of Apple technology.

Planning Essentials can be delivered in-person or virtually. It can be delivered to a single account on-site or as a cluster workshop with multiple accounts.

Mac Proof of Concept

Experience the ease of a fully managed Apple environment with a range of MacBook models over a six week period.

This engagement is for IT leaders that are interested in piloting Macs in their organisation for the first time and is intended to demonstrate across a range of personas how a managed Mac can improve the daily work experience. It is also beneficial for organisations that already have unmanaged Macs in their workplace and want to evaluate the benefits of a managed Mac.

Management at its best

This Proof of Concept experience shows the best of breed when it comes to Apple management, with devices enrolled into Apple Business Manager and using Automated Device Enrolment to seamlessly connect to an MDM. Cyclone’s experienced Apple engineers have pre-configured this MDM environment with common policies many organisations require such as:

Integration with Microsoft 365 for seamless device sign in and SSO
Multi-Factor Authentication for end user secure sign in to the device
Enforced disk encryption with Apple’s FileVault
Screen timeout / sleep periods defined and requirements for password entry to wake from sleep

The inclusion of these policies (and more) allows organisations experiencing the Mac Proof of Concept to evaluate a managed Mac alongside their existing Windows fleet and see first hand that organisational policies can be applied to Macs in the same way as Windows.
